donate books

we accept walk-in book donations at our greenpoint location during open hours, every day from 10 am to 8 pm. 

if you have more than two bags, or would like to request a pickup, please email donate[at]leavesbookstore.com.

we are happy to receive books of all genres and languages, but we can’t take:

• textbooks and encyclopedia sets

• books with any trace of mold 

• cds, dvds, puzzles, or board games

all donated books are reused, rehomed, or recycled—no books are thrown away.
