collection of spanish poems translated by the renowed american poet, translator, and ecologist w.s. merwin (1921-2019). merwin recieved the pulitzer prize in 1927 and 2019, among many other prestigious awards. in 2010 the library of congress named him 17th united states poet laureate. the short, haiku-like poems in this volume are "merwin's versions of poems from asia."
