german photographer wolfgang tillmans (b. 1968) has been named one of the most influential people in the world. his vast and varied works are known for their observational qualities and investigations of the photographic medium.
"wako book 1999" is his first publication in collaboration with the tokyo-based gallery wako works of art.
there are a total of six wako books, which were released between 1999 and 2020. all have been edited and designer entirely by the artist.
