this collection of ambrotypes showcases the collaboration between photographer matthew larkin and the body suspension group rites of passage. the suspended bodies are captured using an antique photo processing technique with black glass, depicting haunting positions as they hang from hooks inserted into the skin. all seventy images have been exquisitely reproduced as full-page duotones with a high-gloss, tinted varnish.
