forty one photographs, 1958-1968.

born with a congenital malformation on his skull, christopher underwent pediatric cranial surgery at least once and possibly more. his condition is unknown but ptosis (drooping eyelid) present from infancy possibly suggests calcified cephalohematoma, a dermoid cyst, or another congenital malformation.

the first forty photographs are of early life for christopher being held by his mother and grandparents both before and after the surgery(s).

the last photograph is christopher around age 9 or 10 years old. held in protective folding card stock.
