edited by dian hanson. during his lifetime (1897-1963) thomas leycester poulton was a respectable magazine and medical book illustrator. after his death in 1963, a treasure trove of shockingly sexual drawings was discovered. the archive remained private until it changed hands in the 1990s, and a new collector deemed the works fit for public consumption.
